Intervention Coordinator
As an out-of-the-classroom teacher, I provide support to students and teachers in grades K-2nd. Part of my job is to provide professional development during grade level to enhance instructional strategies for reading and writing. In addition, I work directly with students to provide Tier 2 instruction for our Academies literacy early prevention program. Lastly, I support the needs of all our students by working on our School-Wide Behavior Support Plan.
Title III Coach
In my position as an out-of-the class teacher, I provide assistance with the implementation of Integrated and designated English Language Development. I support student learning by ensuring that instructional strategies and classroom practices are in place to ensure access to the core curriculum.
Intervention Coordinator
At Loma Vista Elementary we are dedicated in helping our students become life-long readers and writers. Our teachers teach students writing and reading using the principals and methods of Lucy Calkins.
